You’ll be talking to your guests while the light changes in the room, someone laughs at another table and the people you love have moments of their own. Your photographs let you discover those things afterwards, alongside the place and all the details you chose so carefully.
When it’s time for portraits, you won’t have to stand still and smile on cue. I’ll give you a little direction and something to do together, so you can move, talk and forget about the camera. Then you can get back to everyone and enjoy the day.

I’ll get to know your people, priorities and plans for the day. You can also send me a Pinterest board of images you like so I can get a clear sense of what you like. Closer to the wedding, we’ll discuss the final details and any photo worries so you can head into the day feeling at ease.

01 / We feel awkward in photographs. Will you guide us?
Almost every couple tells me this. During portraits, I’ll give you small things to do together and keep you moving, so you can focus on each other instead of the camera. I love genuine laughter, but a quiet expression can be just as lovely. You don’t need to perform for me.
02/ Will every photograph have a dark edit?
My work has warmth and depth, and I photograph with the light and atmosphere of your actual day. The full gallery also includes the ceremony, your guests, the details and the moments in between. If you’d like to see that range before booking, ask me for a complete wedding gallery.
03/ How much time should we allow for portraits?
We’ll talk through your timeline and find a window that suits your day. I’ll give you enough direction to feel at ease and keep the session moving, so you can get back to your guests.
04/ Do you photograph weddings abroad?
Yes. I can photograph a wedding day or a fuller celebration with events such as a welcome dinner or pool party. Tell me the location, itinerary and coverage you have in mind, and I’ll prepare a custom proposal including travel and accommodation.
05/ What happens after the wedding?
You’ll receive a first preview with a slideshow set to music. Then I carefully select and edit your full gallery myself, ready to view and download online. We can also talk about an album and prints.
06/ Can we have an album?
The wedding collection includes a small linen album. If you’d like a larger album, I can help you choose photographs, design it with you and make it into something you’ll want to leave out, not put away.
